1 - I feel very uncomfortable with the Supreme Court judges that Barack Obama would appoint as President, and I feel that there will be some absolutely momentous cases brought before the Supreme Court in upcoming years.
2 - The whole government is shifting towards the liberal end, in a backlash against George Bush, something that I feel is semi-warranted but is also fueled in great part by the liberal-controlled media outlets. I feel like our government works best when the 2 parties are balanced, and I feel like a Republican President would serve to balance the increasingly Democratic legislative wing of our government.
3 - I voted Yes on Proposition 8. It turns out my new polling place is literally next door. There are No on Prop 8 people on that strip of lawn in between the sidewalk and the street, right in front of my house. I told them that if they need a bathroom or water or anything, they could use mine.

That was nice of you to offer your bathroom. Did anyone take you up on it? I also voted for McCain...2 weeks ago in a mail ballot. I don't feel like either candidate is truly committed to the values that I believe in, but McCain comes closer.
