Dear family,
I feel compelled to post. Just for fun I decided to look at the veerrry beginning of our Cannon blog. I spent time reading the posts and also the comments. One thing I realized is that we were all a lot more involved in it. Comments like "I feel we are so much more connected now" etc. were pretty common. There was this sweet togetherness. I just wanted to write to remind us all of that and to admonish that we keep it up. I personally would LOVE to hear about simple things even...how was your day, how are you feeling, what did you do, did you learn something interesting? One of the things I most miss is our family dinner discussions...but this can be a way to keep it going. I love you all so much and love how this blog keeps us close...

yes ok.
I must admit that all the election commentary has me turned off from the family blog. I admit Ben and I did our share, but it seemed to take away from the reason I check the blog, which is to talk about each other, not politics. That's just me though.
Sorry I have been so lame at posting but I feel so "not grounded" as we are temporary and my schedule is out of whack. Still, no excuses as everyone is busy. I will attempt to do better for I agree wholeheartedly. I love you all and miss you so. love, mom
