In anticipation for the holidays Libby contacted me with this idea: a secret santa gift exchange. Everyone would get assigned someone else in the family (by the ultimate Christmas postman) to buy a gift for. We could set a dollar amount/range and watch the FUN BEGIN.

Addendum: I also think that if there are other presents that some would like to give that is ok. COuld be a touchy subject when Mom and Dad give James and me a new car but whatev.
Second order: A christmas slide show. THis was James' idea as the family has had some pretty big adventures over the last year. Everyone could send some photos (I dunno, 10-30?) to one person who would then put them in a slide show. THe plethora of photographers in the family will make this a TOUCHING, HEARTH-WRENCHING YEAR IN REVIEW.

Great ideas! I love the slideshow idea. And does the gift exchange take the place of buying gifts for all the siblings? Is that the point? Just clarifying.
yes is does take the place of that...but as wynn posted it does not limit you. YOu can get ipod phones for everyone if you like! Just your prerogative...oh and Mark called that he wants Clara as secret santa! haha.

Who is the "ultimate Christmas postman" Wynn. Do you want us to do that immediately in a fair and proper manner so you will be surprised? Let us know as soon as possible. The fun will begin asap. And Clara, you don't have to buy anyone anything as your mere presence is PRESENT enough. And anyone who would like to buy something for Clara may do so...hmmmm grams and gramps are in. We could set a $75.00 limit if that is ok with everyone. If not we can adjust. Unless we hear otherwise on the limit we will stick with that. So you buy for one person this year and the postman will let you now who your secret person is. Let the games begin. Also, how about if everyone burns their own CD of favorite pictures so one person does not have all the work. Unless someone steps forward and WANTS to do that. Let's say up to 40 of your favorite pictures. If anyone wants to change anything stated here please feel free. Wynn we await your reply as well as everyone else.
