OK folks, Here is my second attempt to post, only this time with photos of our house under construction. This first photo is the front of the house on Thursday evening, August 14th.
Here is that same shot, only on Friday, August 15th. Notice that sweet shady spot that the Pathfinder is parked in. I didn't have to wear gloves to drive it home since the steering wheel was so cool.
Here you can see the garage - it is enormous. And note the sand colored cement floor. Mom's color scheme is working out nicely.
Here is the garage floor just after it was poured on Thursday. The front framing is not in and you can get a better feel for how large the space is.
Here is the garage with the east wall framing and the raised flooring on the left where the small bathroom will go.
This is the west wall of the garage and also the east wall of the kitchen. To the immediate right of the picture is the flooring for the pantry and the laundry room.
Here is a closer shot of the pantry and laundry room floors as well as the added space at the back of the kitchen. All of this flooring is over the newly poured basement storage space.
I was cleaning up all day Thursday and Friday and this is the result in the Master Suite. Too bad everything will be messed up again on Monday.
This is looking west from Mom's office. Clean as a whistle.
Here is the downstairs storage and game room. The window to the left is now boarded up but will eventually be open. There will be door right after that window that opens into the storage area which, in this picture, looks like a zebra because of the shadows caused by the flooring supports laid above.
This last picture shows the storage area after walking through the game room. The area back in the corner where the light is will be stairs down from the garage.
I hope this works. I resized the photo resolution to 1000 x 750 pixels. Is this right?
I love you all.
Dad
