growing up

So, family. It turns out I have to start growing up. This will begin the end of July when James and I move across the country to Maine far from family, school, friends, etc. I just turned down an Americorp Vista position in Portland because it requires a year commitment and a long commute. I hope I did the right thing. Im thinking not that I will get a part-time job, volunteer part-time at a pro bono law organization, and finish school/apply for law school/ study for the LSAT.
Any other suggestions? Its the first time I won't have school to keep me busy. help

Wynn! For me I learned so much when I wasn't in school. Don't be worried...just enjoy living life. Real life, not as a student. Get that bakery job and just soak up the freedom before law school! You'll be more prepared with the time off I bet.

I agree with Em. Get involved, way involved with the church ladies and all that goes on with that as well as your neighbors. Get to know them well. This will serve you well. Also, go exploring in your area. Sniff out all the great places to shop, eat and find anything you might need. Set up a daily regiment of exercise, scripture study, journaling or whatever is important to you ie. cooking for your husband, cleaning toilets...that kind of thing. Serving will make you happy. I have not told you anything you don't already know so you can just disregard this comment if you please. I love you and know you will be very happy with your beloved in Maine. mom
