So this is my final cake for our cake class course 2. It has royal icing flowers on it. I had to bum flowers off my friends b/c mine were walked on by ants. Notice the grass and the hand-painted pansy (by my friend Melissa).

Wow Em, you did a great job on that cake. Thanks for posting the pics. Beware, you will be asked by your kids (and their friends) to make their wedding cakes etc. Look at how Michelle Jones has blessed the lives of so many of us. I am so impressed. I wish I would have taken the second class...maybe some day I will. The into. class was very basic. You did a beautiful job and I think you should take the cake to Ben's work place and let him eat "kek" or at least his co-workers. But then you may have already done that. Send it to us, we would love to taste your wares. love you, mom

Emy, it is Friday afternoon, I am dragging through the last of my day and then I see your wondrous cake. I want to eat it all, right now. I want to slam my face right into it and then lick my lips and rub my fingers full of frosting in my mouth. But I dream, alas, I but dream... and return to work.
