Hello Family. This blogging thing is interesting. So this is how everyone keeps up with everyone else these days. It's a different world for me.
Emy I am sorry about the ants. We have them too, they somehow seem to think that Mom and Dad's bathroom is the place to be. Everyday we sacrifice a few more of them. Mom thought she got twenty yesterday. The decorations were very nice none the less.
Wynn. Always answer your short term questions with your long term goals. Where is your life going? Short term questions fall into place when you have a good view of your long term aspirations. I'm glad to hear of your editing rule.
Dane. How about "Give Said the Little Stream" or "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree". Nothing too religious there and plenty of jazzy opportunities with the melodies.
Ben. Thanks for the clip. Once I watched it I had to watch a few more and before too long my skin was creeping with shame. These episodes are so embarassing. It reminds me of dating in high school. Ow.
I love you all.

Daddy, I read you like a book. I had already looked at those songs, and they just sound very childish. I'm still confused as to why I should shirk religion while I pursue dance type music. Are these 2 things that are totally incompatible? Isn't our religion good for all parts of our life?

But of course. I just think the words such as Savior, God, Jesus, need to be treated with reverence. Like in the hymns.
Dane, Songs and music and dance are expressions - good or bad. The early saints danced in the nauvoo temple. But that was a different culture than today. What you do today has to be respectful of how people are today. If you are dancing crazy and wild then is that expression consistent with religous expression in our culture today? I don't think so. I think songs that are hymns for children are not consistent with wild dancing for adults.
