For All the Women in the Family

This is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. I think I will be reading it over and over again throughout my life. I think I will give it to every new bride I know. Her principles and values line up with what we believe as stated in "The Family: A Proclamation to the World." She can be harsh but it may be hard to read but the learning and suggestions for how to do better are invaluable. She talks about the great influence wives can have for the overall health of a marriage. A lot of the things I learned from this book were things that the feminist movement has kind of planted in my psyche and are wrong and I didn't even know I had fallen prey to these mistaken ways of thinking! Wynn and Lib, A MUST READ WHEN YOU GET MARRIED OR BEFORE! Mom I learned a lot, it's a great read.

Mom, like for example.....the feminist movement was so big on women's rights that it started blurring the lines between men and women and their differences. Not appreciating women's femininity and making them more like men, more "uni-sex." Demanding more for women and less for men. It's the whole culture of today and of "educated people." Does that help?

I agree with most of what you said but I guess I just never had an issue with the movement. You take the good from it and leave the rest behind. You choose what you will be influenced by and what you won't. NO body is forcing anyone to embrace the full impact of the feminist movement. We still have our agency.
